Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)
In short... the ESDM is (in our opinion) the gold standard therapy starting point for a little one with developmental delays or autism diagnosis. It's play-based, relationship focussed, and it has a whole lot of science behind it. ESDM builds on a child's unique interests to foster social-emotional, cognitive, motor and language abilities.
It is an evidence-based, early intervention program for children between 1-4 years of age with a focus on play, routines, and relationships. The ESDM was developed by the MIND Institute in California and combines the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) with developmental and play-based techniques. The program has input from speech pathologists, psychologists, educators and occupational therapists.
Rachael is one of the few therapists in Queensland to be a certified therapist in the ESDM.
We offer both face-to-face and telehealth sessions.
Occupational Therapy Clinical Supervision
Therapy Time offers high quality occupational therapy supervision to Australia’s occupational therapists. This service is ideal for occupational therapists seeking to further develop paediatric clinical skills or for therapists who do not have access to regular supervision in their workplace.
Clinical supervision can include group support for a team of therapists, individual support, documentation review or session reviews.
We would love to support you either online or face to face, with availability to service supervision Australia-wide.
We offer both face-to-face and telehealth sessions.
